Luxembourg, 17 July 2025 – Sterling Active Fund (“SAF”) is pleased to announce the successful exit of its investment in Glenveagh Properties plc (“Glenveagh”), marking the Fund’s 10th realized exit to date.

SAF sold its remaining shares in Glenveagh on 2 July 2025 through open market transactions, following strong share price performance that reached the Fund’s target levels.

Glenveagh is a leading Irish housebuilder, focused on delivering high-quality suburban homes and developing partnerships with the public sector. The company is vertically integrated, managing the entire housebuilding process from land acquisition to delivery.

During the investment period, SAF engaged constructively with Glenveagh’s management team and board. Strategic priorities included capitalising on the structural growth opportunity in the Irish housing market, supporting a doubling of housing completions, and providing input on capital allocation, board composition, and investor relations.

These initiatives, coupled with significant shareholder distributions via share buybacks, supported robust share price appreciation and value creation. SAF realised a high double-digit return on its investment and made the decision to fully exit its position in July 2025. We believe this is a well-managed and strategically aligned business which is likely to be a great investment in the future for a passive long only investor.
